Accessory Dwelling Unit

Architects Rick and Cindy Black designed this custom backyard studio to meet the client’s need for a detached space to work, exercise, and play music.  The building construction and finishes were specified for quality and durability.  Expansive Marvin Signature windows provide ample daylighting.  The Cascade Blue window cladding is a delightful contrast to the Coastal Grey Accoya siding.  Roof rafter tails and the steel entry column are purposely exposed structural elements and painted in a white accent.  This was a fun project for us to really focus in on a single space to deliver a well crafted, durable, and beautiful accessory building.
