Fairway House
New Construction
This contemporary residence boasts golf course views, but is at the same time privately nestled amongst mature Spanish Oaks alongside a natural creek bed. Extensive sitework and hardscaping was required to achieve a single level building design. Engineered pool and landscape walls are layered with terracing, dressed with a stone veneer, and softened by thoughtful landscaping. The centerpiece of the project is its back yard lap pool and adjacent outdoor covered living. Steel framed porches and patios allow deep cantilevered overhangs with minimal steel supporting columns. Flush sill gliding doors connect the outdoor areas to the indoors. Fans cool the patios in the summer while a fireplace and infrared ceiling heaters warm the outdoor spaces in winter.
Interior features of the home include a modern professional kitchen, an exercise room with stunning fairway views and ensuite commercial steam room, and a predominantly neutral white color palette with ample space to showcase the client’s art. Exterior finishes are a blend of saw cut limestone, white integral stucco, and architectural flat-lock metal siding. Metal wraps the fascia for a clean look and more durable finish. Every room has large windows to flood the home with natural light and create a strong connection to the outdoors. A number of high-performance construction features are present in the home from our standard unvented attic assembly to high efficiency mechanical and water distribution systems and LED lighting. Smart home features include advanced security, lighting controls, and automated window shading.
